Tree Pick up Dates and Times

Saturday, May 1st – 9 am – noon
Firestorm Honeycrisp is a highly colored red strain of Honeycrisp. It was bred at the University of Minnesota and has quicky become a favorite for flavor and color. You can choose from either a dwarf or semi-dwarf bareroot Firestorm Honeycrisp tree, while supplies last.
The semi-dwarf tree has a 5/8 caliper trunk, 1 foot off the ground and is about 5′ – 6 ‘ tall. The rootstock is a B118 semi-dwarfing rootstock which will make the tree at maturity, about 12′ – 14′ tall if pruned.
The dwarf tree is 5/8 caliper trunk, 1 foot off the ground and is 5′ – 6′ tall. The rootstock is a V1 dwarfing rootstock which will make the tree at maturity, about 10′ – 12’ tall if pruned. Both of these trees will be larger if not pruned annually in the early spring.
We should receive the bareroot Honeycrisp trees on Thursday, April 29th sometime. We have decided to have 2 times set up for tree pick up. They are listed below. We will give you the trees you purchased with the roots in a plastic bag. There may be water or dirt on them so make sure you have a space you can get dirty in your vehicle.
The trees are around 6-8 feet tall including the roots. So make sure you have a big enough vehicle.
Care instructions are attached, but if you have questions call Troy, 612-940-5672.
Thank you and happy planting! Tracy and Troy Heald
