8th Annual Apple Pie Baking Contest

Ready…Set…BAKE!

Join us for our 8th Annual Apple Pie Baking Contest!

Sunday, October 13th! 

This year, we will have 3 prize categories.

-Grand Prize (Best Overall)

-Best Non-traditional Apple Dessert

-16 and Under

Our prizes this year consist of packages made up of gift cards, merchandise, coupons and more from over 20 local businesses!! Grand Prize winner will receive a package valued at over $1,000!!!

Rules:

-Amateur bakers only!!

-All desserts must be made from scratch and baked in a 9inch disposable pie pan. Pans will not be returned after the event.

-Pies must be submitted in a disposable, covered box to protect it.

-Please write your name, pie name, and list of ingredients on a recipe card and affix to the box. This is required for your entry to be accepted.

-NO store bought pies, crusts, fillings or mixes may be used.

-Pie entries will be accepted from 10am-11am, Oct. 13th. No preregistration is required.

Judging Criteria:

-Overall appearance

-Crust (color, texture, doneness, flavor)

-Filling (consistency, doneness, flavor)

-Overall taste
